Artist Statement
Making art saved my life. Through a life-changing crisis in the late 80s, I found that what saved me was the discovery of my gift as a sculptor. My hope is that my creations can inspire and heal others. My work in stone, cast glass, metals, and 3D printing merges traditional craftsmanship with innovation, producing sculptures, jewelry, and digital art that reflect themes of connection and transformation.
In 2022, before moving to Poland to volunteer with the One Humanity Institute, supporting Ukrainian mothers and children, I began a series of artworks for the wall, both printed and embossed on paper. And in Poland, I created a series of designs printed on aluminum. Upon returning to Ojai, I have continued making wall artworks and sculptures.
Central to my vision is HOLOS, a 3D printed design symbolizing Love, Peace, and Unity; a reminder, we are One Humanity. As an internationally recognized artist, I am creating “Art for Peace,” using over 50 years of my meditation and peace practices to foster inner and outer harmony.
Through my art, I aim to inspire love, compassion, and unity, encouraging a more peaceful and connected world.
Peaceful and timeless – my artwork is my voice and brings to you the importance of stillness, serenity, and a peaceful presence. They instill a calm, sacred space, an environment most valuable in these hurried times.
