UNIFY

Unify is a cast glass sculpture. When I was in Poland, I went to the Czech Republic to make a glass casting of my HOLOS design-symbolizing our One Humanity. When the two waxes were brought together, they didn't mate as one. I went ahead and cast the two pieces, hoping that they would be unified. What they represented was the similarities that our humanity has, yet our differences keep us from unifying as One.

I had the idea that the sculpture needed a unifying addition. I cut 3/8" plate glass into a pattern that would bring the sculpture together as one. I titled it UNIFY.
